This year’s PolyTalk 2012 summit will examine consumer fears over plastic usage and how to reconcile them with scientific evidence.
The event, which will take place in Wiesbaden, Germany, 20-21 September, will feature speakers to represent the views of consumers and scientists, as well as politicians and industry figures. These include European Commissioner for the Environment, Janez Potočnik, and BASF’s Dr Martin Brudermüller.
The organisers are also arranging a series of workshops and training, including “Plastics Stripped off! All you ever wanted to know about plastics” on September 20.
More information about the event is available on the website.
